DESIGN DEPARTMENT Since its inception in 1992, the mere eight (8) Design Engineers of TTSP grew to more than a hundred today. The Technical Services & Design Department provides design plans for new ships to be built in its affiliated shipbuilding companies in Japan and Philippines. Machinery Piping team designs the piping arrangement in engine room. It also designs the auxiliary machinery bed seat drawings. Arrangement in engine room designing and the positioning of valves on hull in engine room. Steam tracing jobs are also being done including the preparations of purchase order specifications of piping related items. Machinery outfitting team does the arrangement of main engine exhaust gas pipes and the arrangement of exhaust gas pipe in funnel. It also designs the arrangement and detail drawings of gratings. The design and detail drawing of tanks including the arrangement of ventilation ducts in engine room are also being done. Preparation of general piping diagram in engine room including the purchase order specifications of machinery equipment is also being prepared. ELECTRICAL DESIGN GROUP Electrical Design Group is composed of the following job scopes: Power & Automatic Diagram; Interior Communication, Radio & Navigation Diagram; and Electrical Arrangement & Outfitting. Power & Automatic Diagram is responsible for the wiring diagram of the ship's power system and the ship's electrical control and maneuvering system. It contains diagram of main generators, emergency generator, essential and non-essential motors, switch board and other electrical equipments. Interior Communication, Navigation & Radio Diagram is responsible for the wiring diagram of the ship's interior communication, electrical navigation and radio system. It contains diagram of wheelhouse group panel, bridge control console and other electrical navigation and radio equipment. Electrical Arrangement & Outfitting Design is responsible of the ship's lighting system. They also make the arrangement & installation plans of electric equipments.
