Since its inception in 1992, the mere eight (8) Design Engineers of TTSP grew to more than a hundred today.
The Technical Services & Design Department provides design plans for new ships to be built in its affiliated shipbuilding companies in Japan and Philippines. It has 15 years of reliable design experience in various vessel types such as Aframax Tankers, Car Carriers, Containers and Bulk Carriers.

| HULL DESIGN GROUP |
|
Hull Design Group is composed of
four teams, the Key and Yard Plan, Working
Plan, Mould Lofting, and Completion Team.
From the specified Key Plan (eg. body
plan, profile and deck plan, superstructure, general
arrangement, midship section, etc.), the Key and Yard Plan team will prepare for the Yard Plan or
detailed hull construction drawings.
Working Plan team is responsible for
the following tasks; Parts Labeling, Welding Procedures,
and Parts Dimensioning.
Mould Lofting team prepares piece CAD
drawings for numeric controlled machines (NC) in
marking, profiling, and cutting of steel
plates.
Completion team takes charge with the general testing of the vessel, i.e., deadweight & inclining test, and sea trial.

| HULL OUTFIT DESIGN GROUP
|
|
Hull Design Group is composed
of the following teams, Hull Piping,
Accomodation Piping, Hull Outfitting, and
Interior/Accommodation Outfitting.
Hull Piping team designs hull piping
arrangement, diagrams and prepares detailed drawings of
hull pipe piece and support.
Accomodation Piping team designs piping
& ventilation arrangement, and piping diagram. It also
prepares pipe piece and support.
Hull Outfitting team designs mooring
arangement, fitting arrangement of steel hatch cover,
deck crane post, fore mast, ladders and handrails on
weather deck hull, and other outfittings around or in
ship's hull.
Interior/Accommodation Outfitting team
designs room details (eg. captain, ship's office,
galley...), specifies fire retardant materials,
arrangement of life saving equipments, and other fittings
around or in ship's accommodation.
